Four color linocut on BFK Reeves paper, 8.5 by 11 in (2015.01.02) Limited edition, print 5 of 5. The driving image of coal ash swirling in water for the Smoke and Water project (2014-17) based on the byproduct of burning coal to create electricity. Recalling a similar strategy of Andy Warhol, this image appears as a repetitious and ubiquitous pattern on canvas and wall paintings, such as the installation at North Carolina Museum of Art in 2016.
